PPM ProAm Ammonia Monitor Reagent Kits

ProAm ammonia Kits by PMA have been developed for use with the PPM (Pollution and Process Monitoring) ProAm ISE ammonia Monitor. PMA can offer an off the shelf or custom reagent set for all ISE ammonia monitoring depending on your application.

Benefits of using PMA and PMA’s ProAm ammonia kits include..

PMA has been operating to the highest manufacturing standards for over 45 years with our reagents proven to be cost effective, accurate and reliable.

PMA can work with you to tailor the reagent volumes to minimise waste and maximise value. We also offer custom solutions depending on application including but not limited to high/low ranges and highly acidic waters.

PMA has low minimum order values, full traceability and quality assurance, bespoke labelling options and can work within confidentiality agreements.

Chemistry

The determination of ammonia in ammonia salts, of the nitric acid content in nitrates and of the nitrogen content of organic compounds is based on the principle that the ammonia ion is released as ammonia gas upon addition of excess Sodium Hydroxide:

NH4+ +OH→ NH3 +H20

The ammonia diffuses through the outer membrane of the electrode changing the pH value of the inner electrolyte solution which is monitored by a combined glass electrode and converted into a direct concentration.

Examples of our ProAm ISE ammonia monitoring kits include

Concentration RangeBuffer concentrationAcid Wash
(ppm)NaOH g/lEDTA g/l
0.5-5ppm4040Citric acid

2-20ppm4060
3-30ppm6030
5-50ppm
10-100ppm
20-200ppm

PMA can supply each reagent in any volume to minimise waste and maximise the continuous operation. We also supply custom reagents.

PMA has expertise in all aspects of ISE and colourimetric ammonia monitoring reagents and provides reagent sets suitable for a wide array of equipment manufacturers including:

Tytronics Ammonia Monitor

Partech Micromac C
